Where do I use planBee wax wraps?
Use planBee wax wraps to wrap vegetables, fruits, cheese, bread, herbs, or to cover leftovers in bowls. Using the warmth of your hands, firmly press the wraps against the edges of the bowl or food item. After a few seconds, the wax wrap will stick to the surface and remain in the given shape. planBee wax wraps are not recommended for wrapping raw meat and fish.
How long do beeswax wraps last?
One wrap lasts up to a year with proper care and regular usage. You‘ll know your wrap has reached the end of its useful life when it becomes thin, soft, and it’s not quickly sticking to itself. Then, you can either compost it or simply give it back to us for recycling. We will take good care of it.
How to take care of my beeswax wraps?
Very simple! Just rinse it with cold water and mild dish soap. Then put the beeswax wrap onto a dryer to dry. Remember to avoid all heat sources, including warm water, microwave, ovens, sunlight, or covering bowls of leftovers, that have not entirely cooled down yet.
What size do I need? How to choose?
If you are new to the world of beeswax wraps, we recommend trying the three-size set, which includes one beeswax wrap of each size – S (20 x 20 cm), M (28 x 28 cm), L (35 x 35 cm). Experiment to find out which size fits best for you.
What are the available sizes?
